FIRST EVER GLOBALLY LIVE STREAMED PERFORMANCE ARTS FESTIVAL
From February 8th to March 3rd 2013 VirtualArts.TV will produce WiredArts Fest, a month long performing arts festival streamed live for global audiences. This festival will be presented at The Secret Theatre’s New Media Center in Long Island, NY and include music, poetry, theatre, and performances. Through online streaming, audience members from around the world can simultaneously watch the shows, chat in the live discussions and interact through twitter and facebook. WiredArts Fest is currently accepting project submissions from organizations (and individuals with producing company support) across all disciplines and genres of performance.
For a fee, performing groups will receive:
- 1 high def, multi-camera edit of your live performance
- Social Media Marketing trainings
- 3000 square foot performance space at The New Media Center at the Secret Theater
- Opportunity to invite your own audience to theThe New Media Center at the Secret Theater
- 4 camera setup and camera operators
- Live-Streaming Director
- 1 Production Manager
- 1 Sound (for streaming) Technician
- 1 Board Operator
PLUS: The possibility to be selected for the final WiredArts Fest marathon day with a standard Rep Lighting plot (specialized for camera lighting).
